Adult Day

In 2006, Frontier Community Services developed an Adult Day alternative called “Options” for individuals with developmental disabilities who reside in Ross and neighboring counties. Options is based on the vision and determination to create meaningful experiences for adults.

Hours

Mon - Fri | 9:00 a.m.—2:00 p.m.
Closed Major Holidays

Options is person-driven with services and activities created based upon the needs and desires of those who attend. Options places great value on community life, and social activities in the community make up a significant portion of the person’s experience. We strive to develop skills and experiences that lead to greater independence, community membership, relationship-building, self-direction, and self-advocacy.

A few of the activities individuals can participate in can include:

  • Arts & Crafts
  • Computer Activities
  • Sensory Exploration
  • Hiking
  • Museums
  • Attending Fairs, Festivals
  • Movies
  • Current Events
  • Fitness & Exercise
  • Utilization of Community Resources
  • Picnics
  • Restaurants & Coffee Houses
  • Building Connections with People in the Community & Participating in Community Actvities
  • Healthy Lifestyle Learning
  • Home & Garden Skills

For those interested in attending Options, contact should be made with their Service & Support Administrator (SSA) at their County Board of Developmental Disabilities and request a tour!
