Direct Care Services Aide
Duties/Job Description: Compassionate individuals who enjoy helping others maintain their dignity and independence needed to provide personal and homemaker services to individuals with mental retardation and/or developmental disabilities. Typical duties include assisting, providing, and teaching daily living activities. Activities include: bathing, selecting clothing and dressing, personal hygiene, routine household chores, meal planning and preparation, medication administration and other health care activities. Aides accompany individuals served to facilities and activities within the community. Applicants must be capable of assessing, respecting, and monitoring those served to insure their health and safety. Full-time and Part-time positions now open in Chillicothe. Part time positions available in Waverly, Washington CH, and Portsmouth.
Qualifications Desired: Prefer applicants with experience in caregiving, solid work record, and/or certified vocational program in health field. Must pass background check and drug screen. Must be at least eighteen years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, and current automobile insurance.
