Senior Services

Frontier Community Services has been serving seniors in the community since 1996.  Frontier enables seniors the ability to maintain their independence in the comfort of their own homes.  Frontier empowers seniors to actively pursue a rewarding lifestyle according to their wishes, needs, and capabilities.  Services include:  personal care, homemaking, meal preparation, errand service, laundry service, and assistance with self-administration of medications.  Services are available on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Frontier currently employs 52+ skilled direct care staff who provide sensitive and dependable care. Each staff member receives 8 hours of continuing education per year, is certified in first aid/CPR, skill tested by return demonstration, and is under the direction of a registered nurse.  Frontier employs 2 nurses with 38 combined years of experience, a bachelor’s prepared coordinator, and an administrative professional with 13 years experience to facilitate and supervise the delivery of these services.

In addition, Frontier utilizes an electronic telephone-based data collection system that monitors quality of care, promotes productivity, increases accountability; and therefore, guards against fraud and abuse.

Frontier is certified to provide services under the Passport Program, Care Coordination, Alzheimer’s Respite, Title III B, and also accepts individuals who are not eligible for Medicaid services under individually specific private pay contracts.

Frontier also provides services to veterans under contract with the US Department of Veteran Affairs. Services are provided on an individual basis via a care plan mutually developed by the client and supervisory nurse.
